SIZE GUIDE
Always use a measuring tape when measuring. We measure all collars in a flat position on a table. We do not measure the inside measurement so keep in mind that converting to our way of measuring.
Be careful when measuring your collars as no margins are left on the collars to be able to be sewn. A sewn collar cannot be made larger.
Do not measure an old collar or one from another retailer, it is not certain that we measure in the same way.
FIXED COLLAR
Measure around the dog's neck the way you want the collar to fit, NOT tight but the way you want it to fit. If you then get, for example, the measurement 42 cm, that is your inside measurement of the collar. To convert this to how we measure, you USUALLY have to add 3 cm. This means that if you want an inner measurement of 42 cm, you need to order a necklace that is 45 cm. We always measure in a flat position lying on a table, not the inner measurement.
The necklace will be measured from one red line to the other. This is the measurement that you specify in the order when the necklace is in the closed position.
For example, if you specify 42 cm in the closed position, we will measure 42 cm between these lines on your necklace when it is lying flat on a table. We do not measure the inner measurement.
The side release buckle is included in the circumference of the necklace.
HALF-CHOKE
The necklace will be measured from the first red line outside the D-ring to the second red line. This is the measurement that you specify in the order when the necklace is in the tightened position. All necklaces are measured flat on a table as shown in the picture above, we do not measure the inner measurement.
Measure around the dog's neck as you want the collar to fit. If you get, for example, a measurement of 42 cm, that is your inside measurement of the collar. To convert this to how we usually measure, you can add 3 cm. This means that if you want an inside measurement of 42 cm, you need to order a collar that is 45 cm. We always measure in a flat position lying on a table, not the inside measurement.
Also measure over the head where the dog's head is largest so you know that you will be able to remove the collar when we have added 10 cm (this is the choke part) to your specified measurement. If you want the collar to fit tighter than the circumference of the dog's neck, you specify that measurement. If you want a different measurement of the choke part than 10 cm, you must specify it when ordering.
